That experience is why I started Big Bags Studio. I help independent Trap and R&B artists turn home-recorded songs into polished records without losing the feeling that made the song work in the first place.
I’m not here to change your record into what I think it should be. My job is to understand what you were trying to create and help you get it across the finish line.

How It Works

2. Get Your Quote
I’ll review the project and confirm the scope, final price, and turnaround before any payment is required.
3. Send Your Files
Once you're ready to move forward, you'll receive instructions for sending your properly prepared session files.
4. I Mix Your Record
I’ll build the mix around your vision, focusing on the vocals, low end, balance, depth, dynamics, and overall feel of the record.
5. Review & Revise
You’ll receive the mix for review and can request up to two revisions included with your mixing service.
6. Get Your Final Mix
Once approved, you'll receive your finished, release-ready mix.

⚖️ Big Bags Studio: Terms of Service

Terms of Service (TOS)1. Project Acceptance & PaymentProject Quote: Mixing starts at $175. After reviewing your project details and requirements, Big Bags Studio will provide a final price before any payment is required.Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins. Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the project scope and reserves production time for your project.Final Payment: The remaining balance is due after the final mix is approved and before delivery of the final untagged files.Additional Work: Services or changes outside the agreed project scope—including vocal comping, extensive tuning, timing correction, production changes, additional editing, or work exceeding the included revisions—may require an additional fee. Any additional charges will be discussed and approved before that work is performed.Delivery: Final approved files will be delivered digitally after the remaining balance has been paid in full.2. File Integrity & DeliveryFile Requirements: Clients are responsible for submitting audio files that meet the Big Bags Studio Technical Submission Guide.Unusable Files: Files containing digital clipping, unintended distortion, missing audio, incorrect exports, or other technical problems that prevent the mix from being completed properly may need to be corrected and resubmitted before mixing can continue.Project Timeline: The project turnaround period does not begin until all required files have been received and verified as usable. If replacement or corrected files are required after work has begun, the turnaround schedule may be adjusted accordingly.Additional Work: If the client requests that Big Bags Studio repair, restore, convert, reorganize, or otherwise correct files that were not delivered according to the submission requirements, that work is outside the standard mixing service and may be quoted separately before any additional work is performed.3. Revisions & Project ScopeIncluded Revisions: Each mixing project includes two (2) rounds of revisions. A revision round is one consolidated list of reasonable mix adjustments submitted by the client after reviewing the current mix.What Counts as a Revision: Revisions are adjustments to the agreed mix, such as changes to levels, balance, effects, tone, panning, or other mix decisions.Changes in Scope: Vocal comping, extensive tuning, timing correction, production or arrangement changes, replacement or newly recorded tracks, alternate versions, or other work not included in the original project agreement is not considered a standard revision and may require an additional quote.Additional Revisions: Requests beyond the two included revision rounds may be quoted separately before additional work begins.New or Replacement Files: Sending new or replacement performances after mixing has begun may change the project scope, price, and turnaround time.4. Turnaround & DeliveryStandard Turnaround: Standard mixing turnaround is approximately 5–7 business days.When Turnaround Begins: The turnaround period begins after the project scope has been confirmed, the required deposit has been received, and all required audio files have been received and verified as usable.Client Revisions: Time spent waiting for client feedback or revision instructions is not included in the stated turnaround period. Revision requests may require additional production time depending on the changes requested.Project Delays: Missing files, replacement recordings, changes in project scope, or delayed client responses may extend the original delivery schedule.Final Delivery: After the mix is approved and the remaining balance has been paid, the final untagged files will be released to the client.Rush Projects: Expedited turnaround may be available depending on the project and current workload. Availability and any additional fee will be confirmed before the project begins.Cancellation & Project AbandonmentCancellation: The 50% project deposit is non-refundable once the project has been accepted and production time has been reserved.Before Work Begins: If a client needs to postpone a project, contact Big Bags Studio as soon as possible. Rescheduling may be available depending on the current workload.After Work Begins: Once mixing has begun, cancellation does not eliminate payment obligations for work already completed or additional services previously approved.Client Inactivity: If the client stops responding during an active project, the project may be placed on hold. Extended inactivity may require the project to be rescheduled based on current availability.Client Ownership & AuthorizationAuthorization: By submitting audio or other materials to Big Bags Studio, the client confirms that they own the material or have the necessary permission to have it edited, mixed, and processed.Third-Party Material: The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, licenses, or clearances for beats, samples, instrumentals, performances, or other third-party material included in the project.Ownership: Big Bags Studio does not claim ownership of the client's music, recordings, compositions, or other submitted creative material simply by providing mixing or related services.Release & Distribution: The client is responsible for obtaining any rights or clearances required to commercially release or distribute the finished recording.Technical Submission Guide File PreparationTo help your project move into mixing without unnecessary delays, please prepare your files using the following guidelines.1.File Format
Export individual tracks as WAV or AIFF files. 24-bit or 32-bit floating-point files are preferred. Please do not convert your multitrack files to MP3 before sending them.2.Sample Rate
Export your files at the same sample rate used in your recording/production session. Do not change the sample rate specifically for submission.3.Levels & Clipping
Make sure individual tracks and your master output are not digitally clipping. There is no required peak level such as −6 dBFS or −18 dBFS. Do not lower otherwise properly recorded tracks simply to reach a specific number.4.Track Alignment
All exported tracks should begin from the same starting point so they remain correctly aligned when imported into the mixing session. Consolidate or bounce each track from the same location, even if the audio on that track begins later in the song.5.Vocal Processing
Provide lead and background vocals without reverb or delay whenever possible.
If Auto-Tune, Melodyne, distortion, vocal effects, filters, or other processing is an intentional part of the sound, you may provide the processed version. When possible, also include an unprocessed version and clearly label both.6.Instrumental / Beat Files
When multitracks or stems are available, provide them rather than only a stereo beat.Remove master-bus limiters, clippers, or other processing that was added primarily for loudness before exporting. If master-bus processing is an intentional part of the production sound, provide a version with that processing as a reference.If only a stereo instrumental is available, submit the highest-quality version you have. Big Bags Studio will determine whether it is suitable for mixing before the project begins.7.Track Organization
Clearly label each track according to its contents—for example: Kick, Snare, 808, Lead Vocal, Background Vocal, Guitar, Keys, etc.
Include the song's tempo (BPM) when known. If the song contains tempo changes, include that information as well.8.Reference Mix
Include your current rough mix whenever possible. The rough mix helps communicate your intended vocal levels, effects, production choices, and overall direction.9.Packaging
Place all project files in one clearly named folder and compress the folder into a ZIP file for transfer. Include the artist name and song title in the folder name.File Problems
If submitted files contain technical problems that prevent the project from being mixed properly, Big Bags Studio may request corrected files before work continues. File correction, restoration, conversion, realignment, or other preparation work outside the standard mixing service may require an additional quote. Any additional charges will be discussed before that work is performed.
