Section 1: Terms of Service (TOS)1. Booking & Financial Policy
To maintain a dedicated studio block for your project, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is due upon approval of the final mix.Delivery: Completed files are delivered via Dropbox. A high-resolution, un-tagged masters will be released only after the final balance is settled in full.Pricing: All restoration rates are per track/file (up to 60 minutes).Deposit: A 50% upfront payment is required to begin all projects.2. File Integrity & Delivery
Clients are responsible for providing files that meet the Big Bags Studio technical standards (see Section 2). If stems are delivered with digital clipping, excessive distortion, or improper formatting, a $25 re-export fee will be applied to cover the additional administrative and diagnostic time.3. Revisions & Project Scope
Each project includes two (2) rounds of consolidated revisions. A "round" is defined as a single, comprehensive list of adjustments. Subsequent revisions or major arrangement changes requested after the mixing process has commenced are billed at a rate of $75/hr, with a one-hour minimum payment required upfront.4. Turnaround & Delivery
Standard delivery is 3-5 business days from the successful receipt of compliant stems and deposit. 24-hour "Priority Rush" delivery is available as a service add-on at the time of booking.5. The Analog Hardware Clause
Big Bags Studio utilizes a boutique hybrid workflow featuring physical vacuum tubes, transformers, and Class-A circuitry. Minor harmonic variations and a natural analog noise floor are inherent characteristics of this high-end signal path. These are considered intentional aesthetic enhancements that provide the "Analog Soul" of the final product.Section 2: Technical Submission Guide (File Prep)To ensure the best possible results from the Neve and Analog signal path, please prepare your files as follows:1. Format: 24-bit or 32-bit WAV/AIFF only. (MP3 files will not be accepted).2. Sample Rate: Export at your original session rate (44.1k, 48k, 88.2k, etc.).3. Gain Staging: Ensure your master fader is not clipping. Target -6dB peaks to allow the analog hardware to "breathe."4. Zero-Sync: All tracks must be "consolidated" to start at 0:00 (Bar 1) for perfect alignment in Pro Tools.5. Vocal Processing: * Dry: Provide lead vocals without reverb or delayCreative "Wet" Tracks: Keep Autotune, Vocal Synth, or specific creative filters "baked in" if they define your sound.6. Music/Beats: Disable all Master Bus processing (limiters, clippers, or heavy compression) prior to export.7. Organization: Label tracks clearly (e.g., 01Kick, 02Snare, 03LeadVocal).Tempo (BPM): You must include the song tempo in the folder name or a text file (e.g., [SongName] 140BPM Stems.zip).8. Packaging: Compressing your folder into a .ZIP or .RAR file is mandatory for upload integrity.Note: Proper file preparation is essential. Files delivered outside of these specifications may incur a 30% Technical Adjustment Fee to cover manual correction and realignment.
